Exodus Developers
Choose a product, set up access, and test your integration before you use it in production.
Documentation and quickstarts
- Checkout: Accept stablecoin payments with the Checkout quickstart. Follow the payments guide or subscriptions guide, then use the API reference for endpoint details.
- XO Swap: Add cross-chain swaps with the XO Swap API documentation and the V3 integration flow.
- Passkeys: Add an embedded wallet with the Passkeys quickstart and
createWalletreference. - Hydra: Build a wallet with the Hydra SDK setup guide, which links to minimal examples and a local SDK playground.
API keys and access
For Checkout, contact the Exodus Business team to create an account and complete onboarding. The prerequisites guide explains the account, settlement address, and server environment you need.
After onboarding, open Settings → API keys in your Exodus dashboard. Read API key authorization for bearer authentication, scopes, and key expiry. Keep API keys on your server. The credentials guide also explains the separate signing key and webhook secret.
XO Swap uses an App-Name header. Follow its authorization guide for the required headers and production setup. For Passkeys, the quickstart explains the app ID used for production.
Sandbox and testing
Checkout has no separate sandbox environment. Use a test business and its sk_test_ API key to test the payment flow on testnets without moving real funds. Test and live businesses use the same dashboard. Follow Test and live businesses for setup and the steps to move to production.
For interactive demos, open the XO Swap and Passkeys playgrounds. The Hydra SDK setup guide links to examples you can run locally.
